The use of games for learning has the potential to be a polarizing topic. Those who promote the use of games, tend to be very passionate about it. The following video is a good example and is sure to stimulate your thinking.

Psychologist, Michael Britt did a podcast episode on this topic. near the top of the page are links to either play or download the MP3 file of the episode. On the page there are other links and resources about gamification which might be interesting, though you will need to mind the language for some of the comments.
Our blog for this week is going to ask you to form an opinion about games in education and gamification. This week, instead of watching videos and reading articles that have been preselected, you are going to do what we often ask our students to do - do some research and find some good suport for the pro and con sides of the debate.
